Biography
Nabeela is a Principal at TELUS Global Ventures, where she invests in impact-first startups addressing challenges in agriculture, health and the environment. Nabeela cut her teeth in venture at Relay Ventures, where she focused on transformative fintech and AI solutions at the early stage. As an advocate for women’s empowerment, she co-founded the Canadian Women in VC community and was an activator at Coralus (fka SheEO). Prior to joining the venture ecosystem, Nabeela had a short half-life as an Electro-Optics Engineer. Nabeela holds a B. Eng. in Engineering Physics from McMaster University. She is the recipient of Corporate Knights’ Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders (2022).
