Biography

As engineering capacity becomes less constraining, choosing the right problems to focus on become business-defining decisions. Aaron Del Duca helps founders figure out what’s worth building, who will pay for it, and how to turn a promising technology into a growing business. Aaron brings more than 20 years of experience across life sciences, medical devices, diagnostics, and software. He joined DNA Genotek (now OraSure) as employee #9, rose to VP Product, and later built its microbiome business from idea to 10s of millions in revenue across 40 countries, acquiring and integrating two companies along the way. His experience also includes executive leadership roles at DayTwo (now Danone), Karius, Invitae (now LabCorp), One Codex, and serving as interim CEO of CryoStasis (a Genesys Capital company). As Principal at OMX Advisors, he supports builders with tools for understanding customers: what they’re trying to accomplish, where existing solutions fall short, and what would make switching worthwhile. As an advisor or fractional executive, he helps turns those insights into actionable strategies for business model validation, product development, partnerships, organizational design, and M&A.
